Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM
Music to get drunk and smash stuff up to, The Black Vultures bring this roaring beast of pure, adrenaline-soaked rock ‘n’ roll to ferocious life.
Mixing its massive groove and snotty-attitude vocals, ‘Never Say’ bounces along on a wave of goodtime barroom filth like Clutch and AC/DC rutting by the bins in a seedy back alley.
What the Welsh four piece lack in unnecessary finesse they more than make up in locomotive drive and a freewheeling spirit that should carry them far and wide.

Wales may have given us Tom Jones and Stereophonics amongst other greats, but it’s arguable that few bands have rocked as hard as legends Budgie but these fellow birds of a feather are certainly giving it their best shot, destined to join their fellow avian-themed countrymen Those Damn Crows as big noises from the Valleys. It’s a great time to be alive.
