Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM
Scarlet Rebels are angry and are ready to kick down some doors. Catching the zeitgeist in their razor-sharp way, the Welsh quartet bring this raging slab of heavy-duty boogie fueled by adrenaline and vitriol as it rockets and bounces in equal measure.
With laser focus, the lyrical barrage unfurls a passion as Wayne Doyle’s vocals roar, his guitar and that of Chris Jones slashing and scything as it eviscerates.
With their ire directed at the government barely controlled, this makes a powerful statement and is a damn fine rock song to boot, the sledgehammer blast with swing something that the outfit have made their honest and gritty calling card.
The perfect soundtrack to a righteous revolution, this is rock ‘n’ roll to bring down dictatorships.
Accompanied by a scathing call-out on social media.
