Rising Irish rock band The Psychs have switched on the summer with brand-new music in the form of So Real, Surreal.
So Real, Surreal ushers in a new vibration to the eerie, foot-stomping rock that The Psychs are best known for. A solid rock beat adorned with goth elements on a heavy grooving bass line.
This new song features a never-been-tried-before sound of 80’s synths plugged into powerful guitar leads along with yearning vocals that wail with longing and despair.
“make me real, show me how to feel,
show me how to feel… I feel surreal”
Saoirse Lawlor, vocalist of post-pop band SRSHA, provides backing vocals on So Real, Surreal which was recorded by Michael Richards at Trackmix Studios in Dublin. This final cut was mastered at the prestigious Abbey Road Studios.
