French nu x metalcore powerhouse LANDMVRKS are set to release their fourth album The Darkest Place I’ve Ever Been on April 25 via Arising Empire.
Alongside the announcement, they also unleashed a powerful one-two punch with the release of their double single “Sulfur” and “Sombre 16,” Bc two songs are better than one, and these are “two” good to snooze on!
“In these tracks, and this new album we follow a protagonist as he descends deeper and deeper into hell, undergoing both physical and mental transformation,” the band states.
- The band has also shared a video for the track “Creatures.” Another auditory spectacle but also a visual feast, thanks to the cinematic genius of Pavel Trebukhin (Amon Amarth, Trivium, Stick To Your Guns) in collaboration with Le Turk.
- LANDMVRKS were born in 2014 in Marseille, France and have earned a reputation for blending crushing heaviness with soaring melodies and deeply emotive lyrics on their previous albums Hollow [2016], Fantasy [2018], and Lost In The Waves [2021].
- With The Darkest Place I’ve Ever Been, LANDMVRKS aim to push boundaries while staying true to the raw intensity that has captured the hearts of over 680,000 monthly Spotify listeners.
- The band has been seen on stages all over the world on tours with bands like While She Sleeps, Stray From The Path, and Any Given Day.
- LANDMVRKS will tour North America with Imminence in March.

LANDMVRKS have an uncompromising style; assumed, claimed, and highly distinctive. The listener goes through massive, energetic, or even aerial parts, without escaping the efficient groove inherited from a rap culture.
