Desertfest London is thrilled to announce American rock supernovas Clutch as third and final headliners at their 2026 edition, joining Green Lung and Hermano. This appearance will be the band’s only UK show in 2026 and marks their first ever time playing the festival. Clutch’s legendary high-energy live show will at long last be taking place on the Desertfest London stage where it has been long overdue.

Neil Fallon comments: “This one’s been a long time coming! Clutch are finally headlining Desertfest London. Built on the same grit and groove that’s been running through our veins since day one, it’s a long overdue homecoming to a festival that’s always felt like a kindred spirit. This will be our only UK show of 2026 and we can’t wait to see how wild the Desertfest crowd can get! See you at the Roundhouse next May!”

Mythical creatures, Gnome will be emerging from their underground lair in Antwerp to share their stoner prog treasures with the streets of Camden. LA via Portland ethereal heavy psyche trio Blackwater Holylight have also joined the 2026 line up, bringing their immersive sonic landscapes to the Desertfest stage, seven years on from their first appearance at the festival. The Godfather of Desert Rock Mario Lalli returns, this time with The Rubber Snake Charmers, to take us on a shaman’s journey through the desert landscape of imagination. Another long overdue debut on the Desertfest stage comes courtesy of California sludge pioneers -16- who will be playing their first UK show in over a decade.

New additions to Desertfest’s fourteenth edition also include Nashville’s preeminent heavy jamming psych-wizards Howling Giant, Glaswegian haunting doomgaze quartet Cwfen and Mumbai threepiece Midhaven, bringing their unique sound – a confluence of heavy metal blended with Indian ragas, to London for the first time.

This latest announcement also introduces Brighton curators Smokin Bones Club who will takeover The Dev on Saturday, SBC shared the following; “Our home away from home…Having cut our teeth and worked as a part of the Desertfest crew for many years, we are beyond excited that this year SBC has the privilege to curate our own stage at Desertfest London. SBC has always in spirit remained DIY and we’re thankful for this opportunity to add a taste of what we’re about to the Desertfest lineup. Our stage features some old and new U.K. favourites; showcasing what we do best: mixed lineups and multiple genres that complement each other and bring people of different music scenes together.” They have gifted us with a heavy dose of darkness in the form of Coffin MulchLiquid ShitIanDromos, and Smouldering Tomb.
