Interview by Paul Monhouse for MPM
The music industry is a tough and fickle mistress to most, trends can change as quickly as the weather and the opportunities for artists disappear.
Fortunately, Mitchel Emms is a fighter and his polymathic and chameleon-like skills have seen him much in demand since his earliest performances.
With a notable CV that’s included everything from being in a hard touring rock band, several and varied television shows and recently an arena tour he’s certainly been busy.
Add to that his solo work, latest album ‘Euphoric Melancholy’ has been critically acclaimed and looks to match the previous outing ‘Vertigo At History’s Edge’ as a benchmark on how to produce albums that both intrigue and excite.
We caught up with him just following the hugely successful The Rock Orchestra tour to talk about the changes in life and how much the new album means to him.
