Fresh off an arena run with the Jonas Brothers, The All-American Rejects return with a new single, “Get This,” from their highly anticipated album “Sandbox,” now arriving this coming Spring. The left-of-center, indie-pop track is reminiscent of their earlier career hits like “Gives You Hell” and “Move Along” and lands with a cheeky video featuring the band on 5 different sets from classic holiday movies.
Tyson Ritter shares about the track: “Little hooks will sit in your pockets like a lead weight that won’t shake out in the dryer. ‘Get This’ was a song born on a drive. It was made in the sunshine on the back porch of our family home. Pure fun like the company it was written around.”
2025 has proved to be the biggest year of the band’s career with highlights including a viral house party run that goes global next year. After teasing new music since spring, they’ve re-emerged with force, pulling in a new generation of fans and driving a true resurgence.
Their breakout single “Easy Come, Easy Go” powered the viral House Party Tour, which quickly became a cultural event with coverage on Nightline, CNN, FADER, New York Magazine, NPR, and more. The track alone generated hundreds of millions of views across 3 music videos and was performed live on Jimmy Kimmel earlier this year.
The band’s new single “Get This” launched with massive global DSP support, landing on more than 20 New Music Friday Spotify playlists across the US, UK, Canada, France, Thailand, Japan, and more. It also secured placements on key genre playlists including The New Alt, All New Rock, The Rock List, Just Rock! and Rock Now. Apple Music backed the release with major global features, including New Music Daily (86 countries), New in Alternative (34 countries) and New in Rock (22 countries).
Their resurgence has also been strongly championed by Australian media, with recent editorial coverage across BLUNT Mag, Noise11, The Rock Pit and Hi Fi Way.

“Get This” follows their recent singles “Eggshell Tap-Dancer.” and “Search Party” with the later’s music video premiered with MTV, showcased in NYC Times Square. With the album garnering 10M streams already pre-release, the band will be closing the year strong headlining KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas and performing live on Dick Clark’s Rocking New Years Eve.
GOOD THINGS FESTIVAL UPDATE
The band has also shared an important update regarding the upcoming Good Things Festival in Australia.
Due to a sudden family emergency, The All-American Rejects will no longer be able to perform at this year’s festival.
The band shares: “We’re heartbroken to share that due to a sudden family loss, we won’t be able to make it to Australia as planned. This has been an incredibly difficult moment for us, and as much as it devastates us to miss the chance to reconnect with our Australian fans, family has to come first. Thank you for your understanding, your patience, and all the love you continue to give this band. We’ll make it up to you as soon as we’re able.”
