The stunning coastal town of Warrenpoint is preparing to come alive once again as the much-loved International Guinness Blues on the Bay Festival returns from 20th to 26th May 2026 for its spectacular 27th anniversary celebrations.

Recognised as one of Ireland’s premier live music events, the award-winning festival continues to attract music lovers from across Ireland and beyond, bringing together an exciting mix of world-class blues, jazz, soul, roots, and rock performances in one unforgettable Bank Holiday celebration.

Sponsored by Diageo Northern Ireland, the festival transforms Warrenpoint into a vibrant hub of live music, atmosphere, and entertainment, with pubs, hotels, restaurants, and venues throughout the town hosting an incredible week of performances and festival activity.

With more than 70 free performances, late-night jam sessions, acoustic sets, workshops, and family-friendly entertainment across seven days, audiences can enjoy an outstanding programme of live music in one of the most scenic coastal settings on the island of Ireland.

Festival highlights also include the hugely popular three-day Artisan Food and Craft Market, a special BBC Radio Ulster Ralph McLean Show, open blues jam sessions, and outdoor performances in Warrenpoint Municipal Park, creating a unique festival atmosphere for visitors of all ages.

Paul Callan of Diageo Northern Ireland commented: “The International Guinness Blues on the Bay Festival is a highlight for thousands of visitors from Ireland and beyond. Guinness has proudly supported this festival for 27 years — it’s a perfect match for our brand with talent, passion, and fun always on show.
