As if that wasn’t enough, NORTHTALE have another announcement for their fans. The band have released a live video of their song ‘Shape Your Reality‘ from their stunning performance at MIDI Festival in China in front of over fifty thousand people this year.

Check out the incredible live performance below.

NORTHTALE, a mighty force in the realm of power metal, has carved its path through passion and remarkable musical prowess. In 2018, the band, led by the accomplished Brazilian-American guitarist Bill Hudson, was born from his childhood dreams.

Hudson‘s extensive experience, with contributions to celebrated artists like DOROSAVATAGETRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRAU.D.O. and I AM MORBID have laid the foundation for a musical journey that saw NORTHTALE‘s debut album, Welcome To Paradise, released through Nuclear Blast Records in 2019.

This journey had its early highlights, including the band’s debut performance at Sweden’s Sabaton Open Air and two dates at Japan’s Evoken Fest in 2019, as well as incredible praise from the press worldwide, including high rated review from the biggest magazines in the genre.

Yet, like any great saga, NORTHTALE‘s narrative encountered a twist: Creative differences merged within the band, leading to the departure of original singer, Christian Eriksson (ex-TWILIGHT FORCE), leading to a momentary pause in their musical journey.

Rather than seeing this as a roadblock, it was viewed as an opportunity to reshape their path, culminating in the creation of their second and much more diverse album, Eternal Flame, which was produced by Dennis Ward (HELLOWEEN) and came out in 2021 also via Nuclear Blast Records.

A significant turning point came with the introduction of vocalist Guilherme Hirose, a São Paulo native. His addition marked a moment of transformation in the band’s evolution, bringing in a fresh voice that perfectly harmonized with the band’s dynamic.

In early 2023, NORTHTALE embarked on an unforgettable European tour, performing 13 shows in Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands and Belgium. Later in the year, they returned to Asia, captivating sold-out audiences through six shows in Japan and China.

Their electrifying performance at the MIDI festival in China, where they played to an astonishing crowd of 50 thousand people, was a testament to their magnetic appeal and influence in the world of power metal. NORTHTALE is currently recording the successor to their latest album, Eternal Flame, which should be released in 2024.
