With Undead Melody, Dark Divine dives into the complicated relationships people have with each other and with the world around them, but it does so with a renewed imagination. Equal parts haunting and exhilarating, the record embraces the band’s love for horror inspired aesthetics while transforming pain, uncertainty, and isolation into something larger than life. Undead Melody feels like an invitation into a world where darkness is not something to fear, but something to celebrate together.

Vocalist Anthony Martinez shares behind the title track:
“We didn’t write this song with the intention of making the title track of the new record. But, soon as the words ‘undead melody’ were written, it instantly felt like we had struck something more than just a chorus. We had found the theme of the whole damn thing. It just felt different and right. The demos we were writing up until then were dark and pessimistic analyses of relationships between people and the relationships people have with the world around them. While we liked the direction these songs were heading, we didn’t want the only energy being created by this record to be somber and depressing. So we decided to completely flip the vibe on its head and tap into the fun side of the macabre. We are a band that has its roots in Halloween. Halloween isn’t just dark. It’s fun. It’s inviting. This song is an anthem for the fans. Throw your cares aside and join the party.“

With the release of their sophomore album Undead Melody, Dark Divine step confidently into the next phase of their evolution. Capturing everything that has made the Orlando outfit stand out, the album blends heavy riffs, haunting atmospheres, and an unmistakable love for the eerie and unexpected. From moments of balancing darkness with a sense of fun and connection, this release turns life’s heavier moments into something listeners can scream along to together. Undead Melody is out everywhere on Friday, May 29 via Thriller Records.

Dark Divine is set to take the stage for the first time at Louder Than Life Festival on Thursday, September 17th in Louisville, KY.
In the shadows of Orlando’s music scene, Dark Divine has emerged as something far more deliberate than just another metalcore band. Fronted by Anthony Martinez’s haunting vocals, Robby Lynch’s sinister guitar work, Cory Scissorhands thunderous bass lines, and Triston Blaize’s relentless drumming, the band weaves melody and menace into something uniquely their own. It’s brutal, it’s beautiful, and it lingers long after the first note.
The band gained widespread recognition with their breakthrough track “Halloweentown,” earning spins on SiriusXM Octane and landing on major playlists across Spotify and Apple Music. Press outlets quickly took notice, with praise from idobi Radio, Outburn Magazine, and New Noise Magazine, the latter declaring that Dark Divine was “playing all the right cards.” That eerie foundation has continued to evolve through “Halloweentown II: Welcome Home,” expanding on the dark narrative that has become a defining thread of the band’s identity.
Dark Divine’s vision fully comes alive onstage. From their spine tingling set at Inkcarceration Festival 2024 to tours alongside Black Veil Brides, Ville Valo, Holding Absence, Crown The Empire, Blessthefall, Miss May I, and Colorblind, the band has built a reputation for engaging and immersive live performances. Along the way, they have shared stages with Ice Nine Kills, appeared on the Summer of Loud tour, and delivered standout performance at Apocalypse Fest alongside Motionless In White, which has only strengthened their growing fanbase known as the Reapers.
Now, Dark Divine enters their next chapter with the release of their sophomore album Undead Melody, out now via Thriller Records. The record expands on their signature sound, pairing sharper hooks with a haunting atmosphere to broaden their sonic palette. As Undead Melody makes its way into the world, Dark Divine continue building a universe that feels both immersive and unmistakably their own
