News, you want news well sit down and pay attention.

New Zealand’s biggest metal band have been on fire for well over a decade and they are not looking to slow down any time soon. Last week the four piece attended the Aotearoa music awards and walked away with a Taonga ( Maori for treasure, prize possession or highly valued) for being only one of three home grown bands to receive a number one spot on the New Zealand charts ( Devilskin’s third and only failing by one spot due to Covid restrictions on physical releases on the other).

This accolade is all the more impressive as of the three Kiwi bands to make number one they were the only band who was independent. To celebrate this and the news still to come they have released the track Burn Slow from recent release Re-Evolution. If you have not heard it please see the video below and bask in the bands softer side and a stunningly beautiful track.

The next piece of news makes me very jealous as it has been far too long since the band have adorned the shores of the UK but they have announced a 10 year celebratory tour for platinum scoring album Be Like the River. These will be shows not to be missed as the album will be played in its entirety along with favourites old and new.

Tour support will be from The Boondocks and tickets can be purchased via Devilskin.co.NZ. Presale June 3rd(10AM) and general sale June 8th(12PM).

Do not miss out on one of the most exciting bands on either hemisphere. If you have seen them you know, if you have not…what the hell is wrong with you, get your tickets NOW!
