LIVE NATION are delighted to announce the surprise return to North America of IRON MAIDEN and their spectacular RUN FOR YOUR LIVES show in the spring of 2027 for a very special third and final leg of the tour.
Following the packed shows and rave reactions across Canada and the USA for the recently concluded North American leg of their 50th Anniversary RUN FOR YOUR LIVES TOUR Iron Maiden will return to North America in 2027 to play a further 16 shows.
Maiden, a 2026 inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, will play mainly in regions that the current tour missed, in a mix of indoor and outdoor venues, and will conclude with two festival headline performances at Sonic Temple and Boardwalk Rock. They will, of course, be bringing their full, dramatic production for each and every performance.
Says Steve Harris, “As many of our fans know, Maiden were planning on taking a break from live performances in 2027, but we’ve been enjoying this last leg in the USA and Canada so much that we all had a chat and decided we should take the show to parts we missed, particularly the North West and South East. It just seems fair to our many fans there who have given us tremendous support for so many years. We can’t get everywhere but we can try! Also, we have always enjoyed playing the many great festivals that are in Europe and wanted to experience a couple more in the USA which we will do at the end of the tour in Columbus and Maryland. At festivals you are not just playing to your own fans so it’s always a challenge and we all love a challenge!”
Manager Rod Smallwood comments, “The first leg was terrific, huge sell-out crowds of all ages spanning multi-generations, some of the biggest shows we have ever played in North America with rave fan and media reactions, and just a great all round vibe and camaraderie from our fans, including in our Eddie’s Dive Bars everywhere. And I know as I go to every one of them! In fact it was so good we just have to come back and play some places we missed and bring Eddie’s Dive Bars with us!
“It is amazing that even after all these years we played to many more people per show than ever before and headlined our first stadium shows in the USA. We have been selling out arenas in all parts of North America since 1983 – bar a short period in the 90s – and the band’s following here continues to grow despite an almost total lack of mainstream radio support and never even having a track reach the Billboard Hot 100! For that we have to thank our amazing fans, and it proves that word of mouth still means a lot. We look forward to seeing you all again next Spring”.
These shows will DEFINITELY be the last of the already legendary RUN FOR YOUR LIVES TOUR which by the end will have played 107 shows to well over 3 million fans in 36 countries – now that really is the proper way to celebrate your 50th anniversary!
Special Guests on the tour will be fellow Brits, Bullet for My Valentine who recently announced their new album ‘Social Apocalypse’ due out on March 19 2027. This tour will be the band’s first highly anticipated shows in North America since their co-headline tour with Trivium early last year. Rounding out this exciting all-British bill will be The Raven Age, who recently supported Maiden on several South and Central American shows. Not since 1983 has Maiden chosen a three-band British bill and this return to their roots suits this final celebration of their early years and their 50th Anniversary!

REVIEWS FOR 2026 NORTH AMERICAN SHOWS
“Unsurprisingly, deep cuts and long-form epics ruled the show. Fans cheered just as rapturously (perhaps more so) for seldom-played opuses… Such is the joy of an Iron Maiden show. Every song in the set is bound to be somebody’s favorite on any given night, and the crowd’s infectious enthusiasm bolstered the band as they dominated the biggest San Antonio concert of their half-century career… It’s a cheap cliche to say Iron Maiden ages like fine wine; a more apt comparison would be a venerable stage actor who constantly reinterprets a classic role. Enriched by age and experience, Iron Maiden brings a newfound gravity to their performances; each tour becomes an exciting new chapter in their epic saga. Frankly, nobody does it like them — nobody ever has — and as soon as Dickinson assured the Alamodome, “We will be back,” fans began counting the minutes until the band makes good on that promise” – Ultimate Classic Rock
“The sheer pageantry and spectacle, delivered with precision every moment of the show, demonstrated how Maiden has been able to entertain through the ages and remain a massive concert draw despite a minimum of radio airplay.”–San Antonio Current
“The band delivered a maximum-impact two-hour spectacle for their 50th anniversary victory lap.” – Boston Globe
“Iron Maiden stormed the pitch of Sports Illustrated Stadium, captivating the sold-out soccer arena with a killer set celebrating their 50-year career… the stadium was packed and loud for the storied metal band. Dickinson and company played a blazing, visually stunning 17-song set spanning the band’s half-century of heavy metal supremacy” –NJ.com
“A time machine with the throttle jammed wide open… Each song arrived with its own visual language, making the show feel closer to a heavy-metal blockbuster than a conventional arena gig… Five decades in, Iron Maiden aren’t merely preserving their legacy — they’re building it even bigger and stronger. At Sports Illustrated Stadium in New Jersey, the past didn’t feel distant. It felt very, very alive…” – Revolver
“The stage production matched the size of the songs. Everything about a modern Maiden show feels enormous, from the lighting and backdrops to Eddie and the theatrics surrounding the band. But underneath all of that production are songs that are now more than four decades old [and while] some of these fans have been following the band since the songs were new, others weren’t even alive when many of them were released. That’s what makes this tour work… By the time ‘Wasted Years’ closed the night, Maiden had spent roughly two hours looking backward without making the show feel stuck in the past… Maybe that’s the real measure of 50 years. It’s not how many records you’ve sold or how many times you’ve played these songs. It’s whether they still mean enough to someone that they’ll travel halfway around the world just to hear them. On Saturday night in New Jersey, the answer was standing right there at the barricade.” – Consequence
“The heavy metal band performed for a crowd that was not only massive but also highly diverse—ranging from families and ten-year-olds to toddlers in baby carriers. Frontman Bruce Dickinson, 68, was in extraordinary physical and vocal form on Thursday night, running, jumping, and spinning across the Montreal stage, which he commanded completely.”– Le Journal de Montreal
“The enduring British band sold out Mystic Lake Amphitheater and packed it with old-school thrills… firing on all cylinders, hitting all the targets, gunning full-throttle [which] underlines how truly terrific and age-defying this sold-out concert was.” – The Minnesota Star Tribune
“This tour pushes their production further than ever. Instead of the usual rotating backdrops, the band uses a massive video wall that brings their catalog’s imagery to life in ways I’ve never seen… During ‘Powerslave’, the video wall recreates the album’s cover in breathtaking detail, zooming into Eddie’s Egyptian temple until you’re face‑to‑face with the giant statue. It’s cinematic [and] one of the greatest concert experiences I’ve ever had…. Fifty years in, they still bring an energy that bands one‑third their age struggle to match…. delivering two‑plus‑hour sets night after night. Go see this tour at all costs. I treat every Maiden tour like it could be the last — but based on what I saw, there’s plenty of gas left in the tank.”– Music Connection
“A thrilling metal extravaganza… Iron Maiden is known for putting on a big, over-the-top show, and this concert proved to be no different… It takes work for a band to make songs you’ve heard a million times before seem fresh and vital. And yet that’s just what Iron Maiden did at Hersheypark Stadium Tuesday” – Penn Live
“There was little sense of victory-lap nostalgia in the air. Maiden approached the occasion as they always have, with urgency, conviction, and the unmistakable feeling that the next song still matters as much as the last…. Each song landed with renewed force, greeted not as artifacts of metal history but as living, breathing chapters in a catalog that continues to resonate across generations… Iron Maiden looked and sounded like a group still fiercely invested in the present, still chasing the same charge that first ignited their music fifty years ago. Few bands survive that long. Even less retain this much fire and momentum.” – Glide Magazine
“50 years in, the heavy metal heroes were as brilliant and blistering as ever in their Boston stop. For a band 50 years into their legendary career, Iron Maiden refuses to act its age. And for millions of fans worldwide, that’s a great thing. Billed as the Run For Your Lives World Tour, the highly ambitious two-year trek is celebrating Maiden’s rich 50-plus-year legacy, while also providing a stunning tutorial in musical precision 101… The six-piece outfit was the definition of well-oiled, rattling off several well-versed anthems while also unearthing a few buried treasures in between… The stage show itself was truly a sight to behold. The mammoth production perfectly captured the flavor, essence and theme of each album from each era [and] the heavy metal heroes were as brilliant and blistering as ever… Iron Maiden shows no signs of slowing down. They remain the only band that can still travel to the four corners of the globe — flying on a plane piloted by their own singer, no less — and be a stadium headline act half a century into their run. And with that kind of commitment fully intact, they can expect their loyal fanbase to have their boarding passes ready for the next 50 years, and beyond.” – Boston.com
