‘As the sun sets on London, a silver jewelled moon rises over the city in the form of Jo-Jo & The Teeth. The colour palette quintet sink their gnashers into the glam blues rock that defines them with single, ‘Don’t Get Too Heavy’.

With a fiery onstage reputation spawned from the depths of unquestionable precision and distinction, the band make for a statement debut in a time where basic has become boring.

Lead Jo-Jo O’Donoghue takes the helm with a vocal performance which places her in a category of her own whilst the mid track solo from guitarist Keir Hicks holds no sweeping prisoners with as much style in his picking as there is skill.

Guitarist Rylan Woods, bassist Max Battista and  drummer Andy Barker hold down the rhythm fort as ‘Don’t Get Too Heavy’ navigates its way through anthemic chorus’ and stud edged melodies.

If you haven’t heard of them yet, you will. If you haven’t listened to them yet, you must. Jo-Jo & The Teeth are gurning to be an exciting stand out addition to the brimming Uk music scene and I for one will be eagerly watching their ascent into rock notoriety.
