For the first time ever, Download Festival introduces Mini Moshers Camping, a campsite for those with children under 5 who want to get their kids schooled in rock nice and early. Download Festival has always been known for welcoming families and people of all ages, and now it’s reflected even further in their brand new campsite for mini moshers.
Also new for 2023 is District X, the brand new and improved Village, an expanded world with secret shows, stores, diverse food offerings and a few surprises up its sleeve. There will also be the exclusive new Download Megastore onsite, which will feature exclusive items, clothing, homeware, a coffee shop and an interactive zone.
Download-goers can now upgrade to the Download Lounge, where they will have a dedicated lounge bar, luxury restroom facilities, cloakroom, phone charging and a pamper area near the entrance to the main arena. And for those who want to rock by day and relax by night, there’s Rock Retreat camping at Melbourne Hall, where there will be luxury toilets and showers, a dedicated craft beer bar, pamper area, pizza kitchen, tea room and much more.
Celebrating an incredible 20 years, the special 20th anniversary edition, taking place for the first time over 4 days on 8-11 June 2023, will feature headliners Bring Me The Horizon, Slipknot and Metallica, who will perform two headline sets with no repeat songs.
