Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM

Quicksilver guitar maestro Sophie Burrell is back and how, this debut single from her new outfit kicking down the door with huge boots and a glorious noise that’s impossible to ignore.

With a nod to Bubblegum hard rock, this is a delightfully anthemic “screw you!” to all those who would betray trust, blending huge guitar riffs, a pounding rhythm section and Burrell’s perfect, ballsy and melodic vocals.

Utterly addictive and under three minutes, this is the ultimate rush destined to become the soundtrack that leads you into Summer, sung by a thousand voices, fists and horns raised high across the festivals and venues of our Sceptred Isles.

It’s one hell of an opening salvo and one that points for a very bright future for the quartet. Prepared to be utterly hooked.
