Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM

Japanese metal masters Lovebites roar back into action with this hard-hitting bit of no-holds barred metal that will roast your skull and flay your body alive.

Possibly one of the most feral things the quintet has unleashed, this captures something of the intensity of Halestorm’s ‘Love Bites…’ but blends it with some 80’s swagger, Metallica’s edge and a pinch of Dragonforce and Gary Moore flash in the solos.

Blistering attack with a bubbling melodic feel and sweetened, soulful yet gritty vocals, ‘Stand And Deliver’ will set the pulses racing of many a global metalhead.

When singer Asami tells you to “Forget about everything that is just in your way” you know that Lovebites mean every word, an unstoppable force set on world
domination.
