The second single from Teiger‘s eponymous forthcoming debut album arrives 31st March via Borderline Audio.
Following their first release Hydra, London’s modern power trio Teiger (pronounced “tiger”) as set to share the bittersweet Come And Find Me.
In a sharp contrast with their previous single, the new track features a noticeably warmer atmosphere – a beautiful showcase of both the band’s expansive songwriting and their uniquely recognisable sound.
Subtle lyrics are underpinned by a sparing yet emotional guitar part and a pulsing rhythm section – mesmeric drum patterns with unusual, cyclic bass lines.
As honest as it is enigmatic, the trackis a deeply personal one that has a sting in the tail. “‘Come And Find Me‘ was always a double-edged sword”,confides Talie Rose Eigeland, “halfway between a poem and a self-fulfilling prophecy”. The track was recorded at Foel Studio (Porcupine Tree, Dresden Dolls, The Wildhearts), and mastered by David Castillo (Opeth, Katanonia).
