Brazilian metal act Semblant have just made a brand new video available for a song entitled ‘The Human Eclipse’.
Included on their current album, ‘Vermillion Eclipse’, it coincides with the announcement of a 2xLP format (including limited edition red vinyl) of the highly regarded release, which will be made available on 20th October.
Originally issued on CD and digital formats in April 2022, ‘Vermillion Eclipse’ saw the band continue their evolution into a powerful unit hard to categorise.
With wide-ranging rock and metal influences, Semblant are at once wholly unique yet familiar.
Semblant formed in 2006 in Curitiba, Brazil when singer Sergio Mazul and keyboardist J. Augusto joined forces to create music that featured all the dark and aggressive elements they loved in metal. They eventually established themselves with the addition of Mizuho Lin (female vocals), Juliano Ribeiro (guitar), Welyntom ‘Thor’ Sikora (drums) and Johann Piper (bass) to complete a formidable sextet.
Semblant will be touring throughout Europe in October, with two UK shows included on the schedule:
