The band ARRIVING HOME, to some already known for their energetic and melodic metalcore songs, make a powerful statement with their latest single, “Sickness”.
The five musicians, who have enjoyed success with bands such as Hopelezz and Traced by Enemies and shared stages with the likes of Soilwork, Soulfly, and Lamb of God, now bring their combined experience to this haunting work.
Recorded at Megablaster Studios led by Timo Bonner (Our Mirage), “Sickness” reflects a deep concern for our planet. The song’s lyrics are a dark poem that depicts humanity as a disease that is exploiting Mother Earth and driving it to its death.
With lines like “thousands of years exploited and raped” and “your mother’s love turns into punishment,” ARRIVING HOME confronts us with the brutal truth of our time: we are the disease, we are the pain.
The video for the song visually emphasizes the urgent message of the song, encourages reflection, and calls for action. “Sickness” is not just a song but a wake-up call – a call for reflection and to save our planet.
