Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM

The band that Iron Maiden’s Steve Harris sprung from are back to celebrate their 50th anniversary with this blast of emotive Prog from their forthcoming album due in 2024.

With not inconsiderable style and verve, this ballsy and multi-hued rocker hits new heights and manages to blend big guitars, shimmering keys and the yearning vocals of David Smith to great effect.

Shorn of a lot of the frills that sometimes bog down Prog, this is a taught and sharply focussed number that speaks to the heart as much as it does to the intellect and shows there’s plenty more gas in the veteran band’s tank.

A tasty morsel that points to a bright new dawn.

Gone For Good is now available to download or stream from all digital platforms here  https://gypsyskiss.hearnow.com/gone-for-good-radio-mix

You can pre order the CD now at www.gypsyskiss.bandcamp.com – these are very limited in number and will be signed by the band.
