Review by Rick Eaglestone for MPM

Irish Black Metal Outfit Horrenda return with their brash, experimental energy for new single Handprints.

Handprints is three minutes of sheer and ruthless aggression flooded with waves of influence and intent. If the song was intended as a baptism of fire for newest recruit Dearg then they have more than stepped up to the challenge with an absolute barrage of unrelenting drum patters..

Even in the short amount of time it’s apparent that the collective musicianship is sharp and precise with no time for swirly intros or outros to fill in the gaps, the artwork too with its menacing presentation is a great visual representation of the track’s visceral nature.
