German hard rockers Kissin Dynamite have released their second single, My Monster, ahead of their forthcoming album Back With A Bang, set to release 5th July.
The band also released a music video to go along with the song. The band speaks of My Monster, “Our new Single, My Monster, is about the monster within, every human knows.
You can run but you can’t hide. Check out the cinematic video, which plays in 1927!” The video is a treat; with the storytelling and the band playing in 20s clothes, it’s captivating and different.
The song is upbeat and definitely captures the feel of the 80s glam metal era, yet still feels fresh and new. The chorus is anthemic and powerful with strong vocals.
It’s catchy and hooks you in. With a distorted, shredding guitar solo and booming drums, the song is
nostalgic and dynamic.
The accompanying video is also great – with it being set in 1927, it goes through a story, then breaks out in the band playing whilst dressed in 20s clothes.
The vintage visuals of the video make for an interesting juxtaposition to their 80s inspired hard rock sound.
Kissin Dynamite has plenty of shows coming up in Germany through this summer, as well as touring across Europe come autumn
