Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM
Siblings in a band rarely see anything but a combustible mix of ego and talent warring for the top slot. Fortunately, Maxamillion and Anastasia Grace Haunt of the titular outfit sees the brother and sister more in the camp of Greta Van Fleet than Oasis, the duo able to mould together thrilling slabs of modern rock that bring in fragmented elements of sonic shock to a glorious whole.
The aptly named ‘New Addiction’ threatens to become just that as its blend of fiery rock with elements of electronic pop is impossible to get out of your head once it’s sunk its talons into and under the listener’s skin.
Throbbing with a dark violence that bubbles just under the surface, the number straps you to the bonnet of a Dodge Charger as it’s driven through crowded city streets with Vin Diesel behind the wheel, the ride teetering between exhilaration and mortal danger.

An adrenaline fuelled banger, this is a total rush.
“NEW ADDICTION” IS OUT EVERYWHERE NOW! WELCOME TO THE NEW ERA.
