Pop punk-alt visionaries The Paradox are setting the summer ablaze with their newest single, “Bender (feat. Travis Barker)”, dropping today, July 25, via Hundred Days Records (in partnership with Virgin Music). Supercharged by the iconic Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker, the track delivers a wild collision of raw emotion, breakneck rhythm, and genre-pushing innovation, marking the band’s most unrelenting and vital release to date.
Written during a period of personal chaos and creative transformation, “Bender (feat. Travis Barker)” is about the emotional turbulence of letting go and the unexpected clarity that can emerge through change. Travis Barker’s blistering drums inject the song with a fierce urgency, propelling The Paradox into uncharted sonic territory.
For The Paradox, this collaboration isn’t just a career milestone – it’s deeply personal. Just six months ago, the band was crashing in their childhood bedrooms, watching Blink-182 tour videos and dreaming of stages they hadn’t yet touched. Now, with their idol Travis Barker behind the kit on only their third official release, that dream has collided with reality in the most surreal way possible. The partnership makes a turning point, not just in sound, but in trajectory and serves as a testament to how fast everything can change when passion meets the right moment.
On the song and collaboration from the band’s lead singer, Eric Dangerfield, “Everything! Blink is one of our biggest influences, so the chance to work with such a legend felt surreal.”
The Paradox have exploded alongside the success of their first two singles, “Do Me Like That” and “Get The Message”. They’re already pulling in over 75,000 streams per day, and their latest videos have skyrocketed to 40 million+ views across platforms. Luminaries are taking notice, with the band opening for both Green Day & Jack White and supporting All Time Low across 38 dates in the U.S this Fall and 11 in the UK and EU next winter.
Recently signed to Hundred Days Records, The Paradox are gearing up for a bold new chapter, with a full-length project on the horizon later this year. “Bender (feat. Travis Barker)” is the first glimpse, and it’s already making noise.
It’s not every day that a two-month-old band receives co-signs from legends like Jack White, Travis Barker, and Lil Nas X. But when you have a truly unique perspective, the world takes notice.
Formed in June 2024, the Atlanta-based group led by Eric Dangerfield on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Donald Bryant on bass, Christopher “Xelan” Bernard on lead guitar and background vocals, and Percy “PC3” Crews on drums, swiftly became a force in the pop-punk scene. Their rise, propelled by their distinct identity as young, African American musicians, led to an early opportunity opening for Green Day at their Truist Park stadium show in the band’s backyard.
After discovering one of their videos online, Jack White then DM’ed the band asking them to open for his intimate show at Basement East in Nashville.
From their very first performance, The Paradox made waves online, capturing an audience that the internet wasn’t prepared for. Their debut video went viral, and within just three weeks of launching their social media presence, they amassed over 100k followers. The band hopes to use their platform to inspire kids who, without them, may not have a band to look up to.
