Hailing from NYC, BLACK SATELLITE, led by indomitable frontwoman Larissa Vale, are creating waves in the rock scene with a sound that’s dark, edgy, and distinctly their own.

Fusing industrial and metal influences, their music transcends conventional boundaries solidifying their place in the genre. The band continue to break new ground through ceaseless hard work and non-stop touring, showcasing their dedication both on and off stage.

The band recently concluded writing and recording their second record, Aftermath, mixed by veteran producer Ben Grosse (Marilyn Manson, Breaking Benjamin, Filter) with tracks produced by Kane Churko (Papa Roach, In This Moment, Five Finger Death Punch) and Asher Zeitschik. Artwork is by Niklas Lundberg.

Aftermath is set for release on 5th September, 2025, when fans will be able to order direct from www.BlackSatellite.com. Meanwhile, metalheads have had some early insight with advance singles “Broken,” “Void,” and their latest track, “Downfall,” as well as via an interview Larissa gave Kerrang! earlier this year.

About “Downfall“, the band shared:

“We really wanted to write a song that casts a light on the complexities of struggling with mental health and its impact on those around you. The song is written from the perspective of someone watching the closest person to them literally drowning in despair and feeling almost helpless, like you can’t do anything for them. It’s kind of the sentiment of ‘If you’re going down, then I guess I am too.’ Essentially giving in to the fight because it’s completely eaten you alive to the point where there’s nothing left.”

Aftermath track list:

  1. Broken
  2. Disengaged
  3. Don’t Remind Me
  4. Downfall
  5. Here It Ends
  6. Bleed For Me
  7. Far Away
  8. Kill For You
  9. Decay
  10. Void
  11. Doom or Die
  12. Imperfectly You
  13. Hurt
  14. Aftermath
  15. Dead Eye

It’s an album that’s sure to propel the band towards the biggest stages.” (The Midlands Rocks)

“Black Satellite approach everything they do here with a swagger, while displaying impressive strength and relatable vulnerability…Putting it simply, it’s a very cool album.” (GBHBL)

BLACK SATELLITE have honed their live chops touring with a diverse collection of artists including John 5, Nita Strauss, Cradle Of Filth, Cold, Fozzy, Drowning Pool, DevilDriver, and Wednesday 13. The group made their UK live debut as special guests of Cradle Of Filth in autumn 2024.

Expect them on the road again in October, traversing the USA with Mushroomhead, alongside Psychostick and Mind Incision. Those dates include:
