Since forming Mudvayne in 1996 and Hellyeah in 2006, Chad Gray’s voice has captured  metal hearts all across the world. Gray wants likeminded people who have been along  for the ride  to join him and go down the rabbit hole in celebrating “30 years of Madnesss” with both Mudvayne and Hellyeah songs.

After quitting a factory job, Chad Gray moved to Peoria, Illinois and formed Mudvayne. The band’s first album, L.D. 50, was released in 2000 having sold over half a million copies within a year of its release.  Mudvayne went on to become one of the most successful heavy metal acts of the 2000s, and released four more studio albums; The End of All Things to Come (2002), Lost and Found (2005), The New Game (2008) and Mudvayne (2009), before going on hiatus in 2010. In 2021, the band  announced that Mudvayne were reuniting for their first shows in over a decade, and and in summer of 2025, released their first new music in 16 years,  “Hurt People Hurt People” and “Sticks and Stones.”

In 2006, Gray and Nothingface guitarist Tom Maxwell,  formed supergroup,  Hellyeah which featured Mudvayne guitarist Greg Tribbett and  Pantera and Damageplan drummer Vinnie PaulIn 2014, and guitarist Christian Brady and bassist Kyle Sanders.  Vinnie Paul passed away on June 22, 2018, while completing the album Welcome Home. The album was completed in September 27, 2019 and the remaining members did a celebration of life tour to support the album and to honor Vinnie Paul. After their final show in 2020 on Shiprocked, Hellyeah has been on a permanent hiatus.
