Twin Atlantic return with their brand new single ‘Don’t Quit It‘ – a bold  burst of alt-pop that finds the Scottish band delivering their signature widescreen hooks. The track marks the start of a new partnership with independent label Dance To The Radio.

Written by frontman Sam McTrusty, the single reflects a spirit of perseverance, letting go and pushing forward, channeling the joy of uninhibited songwriting alongside a renewed focus on energy and feel. It’s also a tribute to the Scotland national football team ahead of their ventures to the USA for this year’s World Cup.

Driven by a Daft Punk-tinged edge, ‘Don’t Quit It’ captures the band in a freer, more instinctive creative space. The track embraces the band’s mainstream appeal without losing the emotional core and anthemic weight that has long defined their sound – listen here.

Sam explains; “It’s about not being able to quit something, or someone, that no matter how much it hurts or drags you down, or disappoints or frustrates you sometimes, you can’t help but love it and need it. It’s accepting that it’s a part of you and without it you’d be less and so it’s worth the perseverance. I wanted to shine a big spotlight on that experience and make a big bold fun rock song, hands in the air, let go of the pretense, take off your seat belt, and feel the fun.”

It also sees the band’s four original founding members, Sam McTrusty, Ross McNae, Barry McKenna & Craig Kneale, on a track together for the first time in 3 albums, bringing an added spark and familiarity that has shaped Twin’s hard-hitting, anthemic sound.

Over the years, Twin Atlantic have carved out a reputation for emotionally charged songwriting and arena-ready choruses, shaped by both their DIY beginnings and years of relentless touring. The band’s willingness to experiment has long been informed by a wide range of influences, from the propulsive alt-rock intensity of Nirvana to the melodic sophistication of The Cure, and the modern pop-rock dynamism of Muse.

With more to come, ‘Don’t Quit It’ marks an exciting new chapter for Twin Atlantic – a reminder of the band’s ability to evolve while staying unmistakably themselves: loud, melodic, and built to last.
