American duo SLANDER and Canadian four-piece band Spiritbox joined producer Vastive for the creation of “Under My Skin,” a rock-dubstep collab that has been more than three years in the making. The three talents released their new single via NGHTMRE and SLANDER’s Gud Vibrations label.
“Under My Skin” finds the perfect intersection between SLANDER’s signature emotion-driven melodic bass and the enchanting yet seething vocals of Spiritbox frontwoman Courtney Laplante. Her emotionally raw vocals against a haunting acoustic guitar lead eventually give way to thrashing guitar riffs, explosive percussion, and ethereal gang vocals, creating a quiet resilience against an antagonist’s games.

LA-based duo SLANDER, is an American electronic group consisting of Derek Andersen and Scott Land.
