Review by Paul Monkhouse for MPM

Soaked in bluesy rock ‘n roll fire and canyon deep soul, this storming second single from the imminently arriving ‘Life’s Machine’ album declares that Brave Rival are destined to become permanent fixtures in the hearts of all who hear them.

Like being attached by wires to a power station, this huge surge of tough, no nonsense, groove-fuelled goodness is driven along by the fluid chops of Ed Clarke’s guitar and the Hammond organ of guest Johnny Henderson in a maelstrom that will knock you off your feet.

With the strong and sassy vocals of Lindsey Bonnick and Chloe Josephine coming on like a heavenly blend of Ann Wilson and Aretha Franklin, the power and heart shining out of this is enough to light up whole Continents.

One of the hottest bands in the country, Brave Rival are an unstoppable force. Damn, this is good!
