Back at the tail end of last November, at The Patriot, Dan Byrne sat down to reflect on a turbulent 2022. A few months on and Dan returns to Wales, this time Swansea, as special guest to Scarlet Rebels with a full-blown band alongside him. MPM’s Gary Spiller catches up for a quick chat with this most likeable and humble of vocalists.

Talking about his progression working with Myke Gray and his solo acoustic shows Dan is clearly excited about the prospect of being back and playing some new original material with his outfit. The ever-popular Liverpudlian talks about heading into the studio and his plans for releasing some tracks during the course of the year.

Amazingly this is only the second gig with the new line-up but reports that emerged from the Leo’s show back in January were exceedingly positive.
