Ignescent are a dynamic hard rock band from Chicago who will release their debut album, ‘Fight In Me’, on 10th November via Frontiers.

A first single from it for the song ‘Not Today’ that features Kevin Young of Disciple is out, er, today! Its video features Billy Grey of Fozzy and was directed by JT Ibanez.

Lead singer Jennifer Benson explains the album title and its central theme by stating: “We will come out stronger in the end through the pain with our hearts ignited. I will never stop the fight in me.”

‘Fight In Me’ includes songs co-written with Sameer of Flyleaf, the duo of Jeremy Valentyne and Brandon Wolfe of New Years Day, and more. Fronted by Benson, Ignescent have released several singles and an EP since 2019 that showcase their contemporary metal sound akin to Flyleaf, Evanescence, Jinjer and Skillet, while they have also toured throughout the US mid-west region with further dates scheduled for the autumn of 2023.

A 2022 single, ‘Remnant’, hit the Billboard Rock Chart and is included on an EP entitled ‘Ascension’, while a much earlier song, ‘Calling Out To You’, was co-written with Ben Kasica (ex-Skillet) and also charted on Billboard.
