One of the world’s most successful rock bands has announced its touring schedule for 2027: around three dozen shows across three continents, including concerts in Mexico from 27 August to 2 September 2027 and a Las Vegas residency from 9 to 25 September. Under the banner “Love, Peace & Rock’n’Roll”, the German band will build on the worldwide success of its anniversary tour, “60th Anniversary – Coming Home”. Next year’s itinerary will take the band across three continents. In addition to North and Latin America, the Scorpions will once again play numerous concerts in Europe, including their home country of Germany. The touring schedule spans the year, combining festival appearances with arena shows and multi-show engagements in the United States.

Scorpions plus very special guests Europe will play 3Arena Dublin 30th June 2027.
Tickets go on general sale this Friday at 10am from www.ticketmaster.ie
The Scorpions are the most internationally successful rock band of German origin in music history. They have sold more than 120 million records and performed on every continent, including at the inaugural Rock in Rio festival, which drew 1.3 million spectators. They were the first and only German band to sell out New York’s Madison Square Garden three times in a row. In 1988, the Scorpions became the first Western band to play ten sold-out concerts in Leningrad (now St Petersburg), and a year later they dominated the Moscow Music Peace Festival.
Founded by Rudolf Schenker in 1965, the band has recorded more than two dozen studio and live albums, earning, among other accolades, 10 platinum certifications in the United States, 13 gold certifications in France, and nine gold and four platinum certifications in Germany. Over a career now spanning more than 60 years, the Scorpions have received a total of 58 platinum and 67 gold records worldwide.
There is Scorpions whisky, Scorpions beer, a Scorpions postage stamp and a Scorpions street in Madrid, while Los Angeles celebrates Scorpions Day every year on 6 October. Their accolades are too numerous to list and include a World Music Award, an ECHO Lifetime Achievement Award, a star on Hollywood’s RockWalk and induction into the Heavy Metal Hall of Fame. In Brazil, a newly discovered species of spider was named after them, and countless children around the world bear the musicians’ names as a tribute to the band.
No other band has performed at a higher altitude: in September 2010, the Scorpions played to 40,000 fans at the Hernando Siles stadium in La Paz, Bolivia, at an elevation of 3,636 metres. They have performed several times in Manaus, in the Amazon rainforest, including at the invitation of Greenpeace. Proceeds from the DVD “Amazonia – Live in the Jungle”, filmed there, went to Greenpeace.
“Wind of Change” is the best-selling single by a German band. To date, the song has recorded more than one billion streams or views on each of Spotify, YouTube and Vevo—more worldwide than any other song by a German band. It reached number one in eleven countries and charted in 78 countries overall.
