Interview by Paul Monkhouse for MPM
Showing they can actually play and with the added bonus of interacting with fans on their hugely popular TikTok live streams, SpaceAcre bring a new aesthetic to indie rock.
Forging ahead with their melodic and guitar driven material that perfectly blends muscle, sugar rush hooks and spiky lyrics about things that really matter, their latest phenomenal single ‘Pathogen’ has seen them played on BBC Radio One and a large number of other national stations.
It’s not been an easy road for Phoebe and Jas, the two musicians having overcome a mountain of negativity and bad experiences, but theirs is the last laugh, their determination and vision stronger than anything thrown against them.
With a major dream support slot under their belts recently (details of which were revealed in the interview) and a forthcoming headline tour fast appearing on the horizon, the band are rightly getting the attention they deserve and for those seeking something fresh that will set off like fireworks in your synapses, SpaceAcre are just ready to become your new favourite band.
Always busy, we grabbed a few words with Phoebe and Jas as they were preparing the next stages of their continued plan to be the band that should be on everyone’s lips.
